MARBLELIFE® Groutmasters TileLOK Service
Advanced tile and grout protection for cleaner, safer, lower maintenance floors
MARBLELIFE® Groutmasters TileLOK service from MARBLELIFE® St louis applies an advanced clear coating that helps shield tile and grout from staining, moisture intrusion, and daily wear while making surfaces easier to clean and maintain. This high durability inorganic film bonds tightly to the floor to create a more non porous barrier that resists abrasion, chemical exposure, mold growth, and graffiti, while also supporting improved traction in high traffic areas. TileLOK technology was developed from protective coatings originally engineered for demanding aerospace environments and adapted by MARBLELIFE® to deliver long lasting protection for tile, stone, terrazzo, and concrete surfaces. For every project, our St louis team thoroughly cleans and prepares the floor, then applies TileLOK to help restore a brighter appearance and lock in a smooth, cleanable finish for residential and commercial properties across the greater St louis area.
TileLOK is an ideal option when traditional wax programs, frequent buffing, and aggressive scrubbing no longer deliver the appearance or cleanliness standards your facility requires. Instead of relying on softer finishes that can scuff, dull, or discolor over time, MARBLELIFE® installs a thin inorganic protective layer designed to stand up to heavy use, reduce soil bonding, and simplify daily maintenance. Many clients choose to pair ColorSeal grout restoration with TileLOK so stained grout lines and tired tile are renewed first, then protected under a durable clear barrier that helps keep spills and contaminants on the surface for easier removal. This combined approach can reduce long term maintenance costs, support cleaner floor programs in restrooms and healthcare settings, and create a crisp, professional impression for guests, residents, and customers throughout St louis.

Frequently Asked Questions
MARBLELIFE Groutmasters TileLOK service is a professional application of an advanced inorganic clear coating that protects tile and grout from stains, moisture, and surface wear while making floors easier to clean and maintain. It is delivered by trained MARBLELIFE technicians using proven preparation and installation methods tailored to your St louis property.
TileLOK forms a continuous non porous film over tile and grout that blocks moisture, food soils, and contaminants from entering the surface. This hydrophobic layer resists abrasion, chemical attack, and graffiti so dirt and spills stay on top of the coating where they can be removed through normal cleaning instead of soaking into the material.
TileLOK can be installed on many hard surfaces including ceramic and porcelain tile, stone, terrazzo, and certain concrete areas, both indoors and outdoors where conditions are appropriate. It is well suited for restrooms, lobbies, kitchens, showrooms, medical spaces, and busy residential areas that need durable easy to clean floors.
Service life depends on traffic levels, environment, and maintenance practices, but TileLOK is designed to provide multi year protection in many commercial and residential settings when cared for properly. In documented applications the coating has delivered outstanding abrasion resistance and remained effective far beyond typical wax cycles.
Yes. Once the surface is cleaned, TileLOK creates a non porous inorganic barrier that keeps moisture from soaking into tile or grout and provides no organic material for mold to feed on. This makes it an excellent partner to MARBLELIFE mold remediation procedures when you want to limit the chance of visible surface mold returning.
TileLOK is a clear coating that preserves the character of the underlying surface while adding a refined finish and enhancing color on many decorative materials. It is engineered to remain non yellowing and to maintain its clarity and gloss even in demanding environments when properly maintained.
After TileLOK is installed most floors can be maintained with routine dust removal and regular cleaning using MARBLELIFE recommended neutral cleaners. The coating eliminates the need for repeated stripping, waxing, or buffing cycles which reduces labor, disruption, and chemical use.
In many locations TileLOK is specifically chosen to replace traditional wax systems that scuff, build up, and require frequent stripping and buffing. The coating offers a harder more durable surface with easier day to day care which can significantly reduce overall floor care cost while improving appearance.
Most TileLOK projects are scheduled so that preparation and coating can be completed in a single service window with floors returned to service after appropriate curing. For many commercial clients this means work can be completed during off hours with only brief restricted access, resulting in minimal disruption to staff and customers.
MARBLELIFE St louis focuses exclusively on hard surface restoration and protection, bringing national product expertise together with local service and support. You gain access to integrated solutions such as ColorSEAL, GROUTMASTER restoration, mold remediation, and TileLOK high durability coating delivered by one coordinated team that understands the demands of Texas homes and businesses.
